I was going over again the latest CD that Hiriart sent me in February and I noticed a non-catalog set that I hadn't seen before. It is a set of THE 24TH REGIMENT OF FOOT, ZULU WAR, marching at slung arms.

Just a general question. Why does Hiriart not paint in sideburns or different hair colors? Would add a certain uniqueness to the individual figures...Michael

Undoubtedly you are right, Michael, but remember these are inspired by old Britains traditional, glossy 54mm toy soldiers which didn't have such detail either. However, Hiriart certainly has superior paint and details compared to old Britains. In addition, keep in mind that they only retail for $16.67 per figure and they are similar to Hocker and Beau Geste which cost more per figure.
