On my 2014 Hiriart order, I have included a number of Latin American sets from countries that I currently do not have (e.g., Columbia, Venezuela, and Paraguay). The first photo is a stock photo of Hiriart's Set 1102 ACADEMIA MILITAR DE COLUMBIA. The second photo is a non-catalog version where they are marching with the National flag, which is what I have ordered.

Mike, that is another good looking uniform but I am curious which photo is closest to accurate on the jacket color. The dark or bright? -- Al

Thanks Al. Good question. I checked the source that Hiriart uses for many of its uniforms: "World Uniforms In Color, Volume 2, Nations of Africa, Asia and Oceania" and it would appear that the lighter colored green, in the second set, is correct.

Thanks, Mike. It was just hard to tell because of the photos. -- Al

Yes, I am not sure if it is an issue with the camera and lighting or if they were actually painted with different green colored tunics over different time periods.

Here is Hiriart's non-catalog band version of this set. I don't have it in my collection, but Bob Walker ordered it through me and I got to see it in person. A handsome set.
