Here is a stock photo of Hiriart's Set 1295 ACADEMIA DE VENEZUELA which I do not currently have in my collection, but is on a future order. It will be my first set from that country.

Oops! I should have said Set 1295 ACADEMIA MILITAR DE VENZUELA in the previous post.

This is Hiriart's non-catalog band version of the Venezuelan Military Academy. I don't have this set in my collection, but Bob Walker ordered it through me a few years ago and it is a very hansome set. I believe Bob's band had 19 or 20 figures unlike this stock photo with 16 figures.

Very Germanic looking uniforms Mike! ^&cool

Jeff

Jeff,

They sure are and that is why I like them, but with the added twist of having the various South American country's national flags in the standard catalog sets. If the sets are not Germanic, they are French in style. Apparently, Germany send training missions to many of these countries in the 19th century.
