Although this stock photo isn't the greatest, here is the one of the three latest additions to the Hiriart catalog: set No. 1361 ARTILLEROS de IRIARTE, ARGENTINA. Their uniforms appear to be from the Wars of Independence era.

This is a new stock photo showing the additions of a drummer and an Argentine flag to the set which makes it much more interesting than before. This unit was named after Colonel Iriarte who commanded Argentine artillery during the War of Independence in the early 1900 century. It is still part of the modern Argentine military.

I never heard of Col. Iriarte, but that makes me wonder--is Hiriart a pun on his name?

Prost!

I was also curious about his name, so I did a google search. No, Hiriart is not a pun on his name, but is a legitimate family name in South America.
