It has been four months since I last received a Hiriart delivery. On February 14th, I received part 2 of my 2013 order. It included 59 sets for 19 collectors and me. There are nine other special commission non catalog sets on backorder: six sets of Balkan War Greek Infantry and three sets of Balkan War Bulgarian Infantry.

The order came packed in two large (and heavy) grey boxes. As the FedEx driver was bring them up to the house, a second FedEx truck pulled up with a box of bare root roses for my wife, Jean. Let's see, $8,000 worth off toy soldiers and $100 worth of roses, yep, that sounds just about right and fair to me. Unpacking: the first two photos are sets for the other collectors while third photo shows my sets.

This is Hiriart set No. 1180 REGIMENT ETRANGERE CAVALERIE for Alan, Andreas, and me. It shows the Foreign Legion in their between-the-wars khaki uniforms. The fifth figure on the right, wearing a blue and red kepi, is an NCO.

Seems like only yesterday when you had your last order Mike! :rolleyes2:^&grin

Nice looking stack of boxes - the labels really set them off.

Looking forward to seeing the contents.

Jeff, it was last year! The blue boxes with yellow labels are attractive. More photos to follow.

Randy ordered set No. 1311 JAPANESE INFANTRY, 1904. My original set did not include the bugler; I like the new version better. They are wearing their uniforms from the Russo-Japanese War in 1904 or for the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.

Hiriart set No. 1119 GREEK EVZONES was ordered by Athanasois in Greece. This is always a popular set which has been ordered by many different collectors.

Thanks Al. The Evzone band, which I and several other collectors have, is quite striking.

Mark ordered a non catalog version of Hiriart set No. 1275 ESCUELA MILITAR ELOY ALFARO, ECUADOR. This 19-figure band includes a jingling johnnie. He also ordered two other expanded sets with 26 additional figures of these Ecuadoran cadets. All three sets will make a great display which I hope he ultimately photographs and shares with us.
