Just a heads up in case you are interested. Michigan Toy Soldier has put up seven Hiriart sets on eBay today, all of which are at a "Buy it Now" price less than list. Most of them are World War I French military and are non-catalog sets for the most part. The only set to have a box is a special French pack artillery set with the figures wearing Adrian helmets and horizon blue uniforms. For some reason the Forum says that the photo I was attempting to post could be no larger than 19.5 KB or too small to see.

There is an interesting WWI French General staff set which has two motorcycle dispatch riders. I have never seen this version before.

This is an interesting non-catalog French Infantry band set with 18 figures. It appears to be missing the band leader, but is a great set none the less. I have never seen this set before, so it might be a special commission.

These are World War I French Infantry at marching slung arms. It might be an add-on set with nine extra men.

These are World War I French Infantry very similar to the standard catalog set except for the trumpeter that has replaced the officer.

The next set they are offering is a non-catalog set that I also own which is of WWI French Dragoons in Adrian helmets. Again, the Forum is saying I must reduce the photo to 620 X 280 pixels, but when I do it rejects it again and says it now must be 19.5 KB. So, I have attached a stock photo of the set which is not the one they have on eBay.

Their seventh Hiriart offering is a partial non-catalog set of World War I Germans in their 1914 uniforms, but wearing stahlhelms. I have a nine figure set like these in my collection, but with a flag bearer and bugler without the ammo carrier. Their helmets seem to be a lot lighter color than mine do.

This is a stock photo of a very similar set to the one I mentioned in post #1. The only difference is that their set on eBay has all the figures wearing Adrian helmets.

Finally, if any Forum member who is on my Hiriart mailing list buys one of the eBay sets that are unboxed, I will send them an empty Hiriart box with foam inserts that has the appropriate Hiriart label on the box top.

This unboxed set of 1291 ASCARI LIBICHE, III BATTAGLIONE, 1929 sold yesterday on eBay for $182.50. There were 33 bids from four different bidders.

A Hiriart collector and Forum member who is on my Hiriart mailing list picked up five of the seven "Buy it Now" sets. There were a bargain at those prices. On the other hand, the Ascari catalog set was picked up at $47.50 more than the list price.

Patron3085 (who I don't know), in Costa Rica, listed two new MIB Hiriart sets on eBay today. The first is set No. 1021 RED DEVILS MUSICAL BAND with 20 figures including mascot for $400. Coincidently, I have this set on order for my collection in 2014.

Champs and Bums has a Hiriart unboxed, 21-figure Gordon Highlanders band on eBay. The high bid is currently only $38; that would be a real steal at anywhere near that price. The list price on a 19-figure Hiriart band is $290. This band is not in Hiriart's catalog, so it must have been a special commission.

Champs and Bums had a 17-figure Hiriart non catalog set of the KING'S OWN LINE INFANTRY on eBay that closed today. This was a color party in their winter great coats. It sold for $186.50.

This Hiriart drums and bugles band is currently on eBay for an asking price of $185, which is reasonable. It is described as being the 24th Regiment of Foot, Rorke's Drift, which it is not. My guess would be that they are the Grenadier Guards. Usually, Hiriart bands have 19 figures, this one has 12 figures. Also, this is a non catalog set without a box. Still, I like it and may order one for me in the future.

This is a recent Hiriart offering on eBay. It is an unboxed formation with 21 figures from set 1090 Kaiser Gardegrenadiers which sold for $228.50 or $10.89 per figure. The standard Hiriart catalog set does not come with a mounted officer.
