Hiriart recently added a new set to its catalog: Number 1347 Rodeo Ranch Cowboys. The only other set like this that comes to mind is set 1166 Texas Rangers.

Love the cowboys Mike - still wish they sold castings - as I would certainly be a customer then. For a small cottage industry - they certainly make a good range of products. jb

Thanks JB, so do I. I guess you are going to wait until you get so old that you can't paint your own stuff anymore, before you start collecting Hiriart. I am continually amazed at the breadth and depth of Hiriart's output considering what a small cottage industry player they really are. There are 354 sets is their catalog and 40 sets in their Spanish Civil War catalog. In addition, there are hundreds of special, non-catalog sets or special paint variations they have made.

Mike, it looks like Hiriart is making a lot of nice "specialty" sets, the Cowboys, Hunting Tigers and Lord of the Jungle just to name a few are real eye-catchers. Hope you have some extras of each on next year's order. :smile2:

Hi Fred,

My orders are tending to have fewer and fewer general re-sale sets on them as more and more collectors are ordering sets. I went back and deleted some of the sets that are on my 2013 order a few days ago to fit in specific orders for some of the new sets. I have two more "open" spaces on that order. Please let me know if you would like to order anything ASAP.
