Here is a stock photo I just received of one of the seven, special commission World War I Force Publique, Belgian Congo, 1914 sets I ordered in 2012. They are wearing their early-war red fezes before they adopted blue covers; they later adopted much less interesting khaki uniforms.

Here are two photos from the military museum in Brussels showing their uniforms. Notice how the red waist shash has faded in the first photo due to the poor quality of the dyes used.
