This is a new version of a WORLD WAR I GERMAN ARTILLER GUN TEAM wearing pickelhaubes.

Looks like one of the "GUNS OF AUGUST" heading to The Western Front in 1914 ....

Looks good, and I don't know of any other maker doing this set ... field grey uniforms and picklehaube without cloth covers ????

Very nice set....But the pickelhaube " if not just rolling on to the parade ground for review prior to marching out to the war " should have covers on......

Thanks John; neither do I. This a parade version, there is an earlier version that I have in my collection with cloth colors.

Thanks. It is the parade review version of this gun team without covers. As I mentioned to John, their is an earlier version with field covers.

On May 24th, I received two sets of this World War I German Artillery Gun Team which had been ordered by two collectors. This is what it looks like tied in to the box.
