Hi guys,

I am thinking over purchasing a few of those CS Currasier... but I thought the bulger should have a different uniform (i.e. green, red or yellow) other than blue?

Also, is it accurate that there were no plumes on the Currasier helmet?

Hi, in my opinion the bugler has a lot of mistakes:eek:: normally he should have no cuirasss, the horse should be white, the saddle-cloth should be black instead of white and finally he should wear a west "imperial livree", which was green or at least (if he had to wear an older west) a west in regimental colour, what was pink for the 10th regiment at that time. Have a look at the k&C-bugler of the 7th cuirassiers, he is perfect. :D

the bugler is not wearing a standard issure uniform but realize that during the Waterloo campaign there was a lot of "mix and matching".
The rapid call up of veterans and conscripts created a shortage of standard uniforms. According to my research, for example, many line infantry went into battle with civilian clothing under military overcoats. If you are a uniform purist it is a no go but for realism you could rationalize a trooper picking up the horn for his missing comrade.
