I saw in future releases that French Old Guard artillery is announced, but unfortunately in full dress and not in campaign dress.
I know that pictures of this time are often representing uniforms in this full dress way but since many decades we have
now very serious documentation which show us the more realistic side of napoleonic soldiers in campaign.
And I know also that many people prefer the splendor of beautifull full dress napoleonic uniforms than the realistic less attractive
campaign dress.
IMHO, an artilleryman in full dress and with rifle carried slung on the back is only for parade or field demonstrations in font of
officers, but hardly ever during a real battle.
On the other hand, I am also very surprised of the BB069 "German Jagdpanzer IV".
Generally, First Legion is very accurate about uniforms and vehicle details, but this time it is not the case.
Effectively, the 1ère SS Panzer Division LAH during the battle of the Bulge in December 1944 had 21 Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (V)
with long 75mm gun and never a single Jagdpanzer IV L/48 with shorter gun.
It is a shame for those who would like represent a diorama of the famous wartime Newsreel frame "Ambush at Poteau" .
In conclusion, just to be clear, all these remarks have the sole purpose of a constructive comment and in no case just
unpleasant critics.
