A better deal on Eva Braun's "knickers"! Wow. A lot of this stuff is fake or very questionable in authenticity. There is a lot of equivocation even in the article. The watch might have been a gift but Hitler may never have worn it.

I bid on another item in this auction that had decent provenance and lost, but a lot of Third Reich stuff is fake or mis-labeled. I have seen some doubt on the watch itself, but even if it is the real deal, Combat is right that there is no evidence Hitler ever wore it. That said, the watch itself is a Huber-assembled JLC Reverso in gold, so it is valuable, just maybe not that valuable.
