Stars Ryan Reynolds as a down on his luck bodyguard who has to get a hitman, Samuel L Jackson, to a war crimes trial in The Hague to give evidence against nasty Belarus leader Gary Oldman. Naturally there are unlimited numbers of people trying to stop them and there is the obligatory leaker.
Follows a well known formula of two who can't stand each other but it all works out between them. Plenty of action, high body and damaged car count, and includes a good chase through the canals in Amsterdam.
Has the added bonus of Salma Hayek as Jackson's wife who is being held to ensure he testifies. She has a way with words and her initial encounter with Jackson is very romantic (for a hitman^&grin).
If you like movies like John Wick, 16 Blocks and the many mismatched buddy movies then you know what to expect.
