Hi All,

I came across this website which advertises Holger Eriksson's figures for sale as unpainted castings. The prices look reasonable. As the veterans here may know, Eriksson was known for his masterful sculpting, especially of horses.

I purchased several figures depicting post-WW1 Russian infantry advancing from HE. Must admit that I was quite disappointed with the quality of the castings . . . lots of rough places, areas where it appeared that holes in the castings had been filled with solder, et cetera. Filled my needs but with a lot of work that was not anticipated. Will not buy more . . .

I too would have been as equally disappointed if I had received figures of this quality. The owners of these moulds should maintain the expected quality as seen on their website.

I saw that Tradition of London has the 30mm figures for sale on their website:

and Prince August also has mould for some of the 40mm figures, so you can cast your own
