Just Spoke with my bro Bob and he said it is like the end of the world and that HK has been put into a Washing machine on the extra spin programme.

He says it is amazing (in the amazing weather kind of way)

Where he lives on Moi wo is about 45mins from HK. but it will depend on what side of his island it hits

the sensible thing with HK is that everywhere just shuts down. Because of this everyone trys to get home as all the ferries and CATS will be stopping so there is a mass rush out of HK.

K&C closed their office today and they are on the 12th floor of a really nice building.

Makes me appreciate boring Minnesota weather. It may get cold in the winter, but at least everything stays attached to the ground.

Yes we have had some terrible flooding in this country this year (although not as bad as China has had it)but at least as Peter says everything that wasn't bolted down wasn't flying through the air as well.

We had a tornado in Brooklyn (one of the five Boroughs of New York City) two days ago, the first in over 140 years. Looks like the weather is going crazy everywhere this summer.

I spent most of my life living in FLORIDA - we have those things called HURRICANES Believe me these storms are alot like TYPHOONS and need to be taken very seriously.

Rob - both storms move quickly - so the damage is intense and short lived.
