As you have seen, HB is now painting all of their figures in a new painting style.

HB is in the process of re-releasing all of their old figure sets with the new painting style. The new sets will have a completely different numbering scheme.

To make room for the new, HB has authorized us to clear out the old sets that we have here in the US.

but i'll rather wait for the repaints, they seem more dynamic and vibrant.

Damian,
I think the figure sets are the last of the sale items. In fact the only reason the figure sets are even on sale is that it didn't seem cost effective to send our in-stock ones all the way back to Argentina to be repainted so our figure sale is limited to stock on hand.
We'll certainly let people know if anything changes but I think this is it.

any idea when the figure repaints will be released?

I am very much interested.

The reason i didnt pick them up previously was that i felt that the skin complexion was a bit off, so now if it has been resolved, i'm looking forward to grab a few.

Can i assume the pricing will remain at the $125?

I already own their ski set and for that one I actually prefer the pale skin tones because it makes them look suitably cold.

i believe you, even Frank (FMethorst) who had a few HB winter sets, told me the same thing.

But i was trying to match them up with other figures. I'm buying the Figarti winter troops - winter surprise and winter attack, and if i can mix and match them with HB's snow troops then that will be great.

I had initially wanted to have a purely Honour Bound winter display - with winter tank riders, SS storm troopers and Heer panzer grenadiers, but with the current speed that Honour Bound is churning out its (admittedly wonderful) products, i feel its like waiting for a sustainable middle east peace process.

So unless Ana looks in anger, and proves me wrong, i'll wait for the repaints.

I believe the painting is being revised right now and we should have pictures soon. New figure sets and revised figure sets remain at $125.
