Guys,

We are happy and proud to announce that we have a new UK dealer. His name is Tom Elliot, and his email address is honourbounduk@hotmail.co.uk

He's ordered a bunch of stock of all our sets, which he will be receiving within the next 2 weeks.

Europe, here we go.:D

We will be at the show, supporting our dealer. He will be the one with the table, and we will be the ones there to promote our line.

Hi Ana,

It will be great to see your wares at the London Show in December. So far I have the 3 Bachmann Panthers, the winter Panther and the Autumn Bergepanther which I have bought overseas but it will be good to see the infantry and the mobile kitchen.

Favourite vehicle in my collection is a toss-up between the W Panther and the Bergepanther.

Will there be any new stuff coming out at the London Show?

Rgds

Andy

Probably, Andy. But I'm not sure yet about what it will be. I'll keep you posted.

I'm told the stock is arriving in the UK for the show, I just received my winter panther from Tom - the tank and the figures are brilliant. It is even better than the new flakpanzer I've just been raving about, in my opinion.:) Love the guys in the tank with puffy winter jackets and furry hat. Not seen that before in a tank crew. Also pintle machine gun a real bonus.

I also like the boxed soldier figures, the SS more than the wehrmacht, agree that maybe some field grey might be good. The Heer was still using field grey in 44 wasn't it?

Looking forward to the field kitchen and the bergepanthers soon I hope. BTW the prices have been recalculated so were lower than I expected.

Those Heer troops are wearing SS style camoflage. The only thing that marks them out as being Heer is their collar insignia.
Not sure what the reluctance to use werhmacht camoflage or plain field grey is? Surely it can't be lack of research? It must be a creative decision.

I don't want to speak for Ana or even pretend that I know anything about the subject but I know that the Donzinos are very meticulous about historical accuracy.

Eazy,

Nothing against the Werhmacht camo or plain green. The only reason to paint them that way is that, when we decided to make them Werhmacht version too, they were already sculpted as SS, and their jacket models didn't adapt to the werhmacht camouflage or plain green.

The new sets are purely werhmacht, so their camo and plain green will be a must.

Thanks Brad,

Ana

Thanks for the reply Ana and the insight into what happened. I certainly see the reason why you did it.

To my eye it doesn't look right seeing Heer troops wearing SS camo but I'm looking forward to seeing your future releases. The most common camoflage outfit in the war was the Heer reversible jacket, splinter pattern one side, white on the reverse. That would look pretty cool and they haven't been done much by the Toy Soldier makers yet.

Marsh pattern/ tan and water would look good too for later war troops.

James

Thanks for the suggestions, James. We'll have those in mind for the infantry sets for the IR panther infantry sets.
