I have been tinkering with this house for some time now and thought I'ld post a pic as it nears completion. It's made of white styrfoam and popsicle sticks. i still have to finish the windows, the door and the interior. I hope to use it for interior pics as well as exterior.

Also, those are Conte plastic Iron Brigade figs that I finished yesterday.

Just the stonewall. The crate, barrel, stools and table I bought at a show. I think they may be Marx remakes but I dont really know. I just painted them.

You did a great job with this!! You should be very proud of your accomplishment even though you have a little more work to do with it.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind remarks they are greatly appreciated.

Excellent Captain, looking forward to more pictures of this great house featured in some dios perhaps ? :D

Nice work Captain, the house looks great, and it's always good to see buildings that have been made to a high standard using skill, rather than money.

Captain,
I love it! The white-wash and the simplicity. Give me about 100 acres and I'll plop it down right in the middle with some livestock! Great job!:)

Thank y'all very much. Y'all got me fired up to get it finished! Thank you.

That's a good looking house Captain.

I love that weathered look on the roof and the white wash on the exterior walls.

Great job,

Michael

Once again a big old thanks. I built this thing by the seat of my pants without an overall plan in mind. I almost gave up on it a couple times but kept piddlin' with it. I almost have the interior finished now and am looking forward to an "inside dio" that I've already started the figures for.

Here is another shot of it when Marse Robert stopped by one evening for a rest. The roof has been painted since then. Gen Lee is a Conte metal figure that I painted and the other is plastic.

On a tip from Fishhead I used a pair of Channel-lock pliers and broke off pcs of pop-sicle sticks for the shingles. The clap-board siding is pop-sicle sticks and the trim pcs are called "Skinny-sticks" from the craft dept. at Walmart.

I've about got the insides done and thought I'ld post another pic.
