One of the Christmas set lines, it might have been Dept 56, made street surfaces, in either brick or cobblestone, sold in rolls, I forget the lengths. It was a soft, vinyl-like plastic. They also had sections of iron fencing with brick posts, very Victorian-looking, and street lamps, etc. All of it could pass for a street in London, Paris or Berlin around 1900, perfect for a display.
I like the trees and other greenery that those Christmas lines have, too. Much cheaper than some made specifically for dioramas, or for model railroading, and they could be enhanced as the modeler pleases. I've seen things like that most recently at Michael's.
Good hunting, prost!
