Does anyone know why we haven't seen a MacArthur or Vinegar Joe Stillwell figure yet? Just curious if anyone has any insight. Have anything to do with their estates?

I'm not sure it really fits into the Iwo Jima theme although I could see MacArthur. Stilwell was China based for the most part.

Sure, I can see that for Vinegar Joe- just never understood why no Mac. I have a feeling there may be some legal issues with potentially issuing a figure of him.

It would be pretty cool if for the WW1 line we get a Capt Patton, a Lt Col Eisenhower and a Col Mac- not to mention BlackJack!!

I think Andy addressed the "liscensed likeness" situation some time back. Note carefully that the Limited Edition Sherman refers to "a general", I don't think the "P-word" is used, even though we all know who is depicted. I know that the Patton family is quite protective of GSPs image, I imagine some of the other families are too.

I agree that a "tank brigade major" and "his executive officer" would be interesting in the WW1 line as would a "colonel from the 42nd Division".

I think Andy can work around those estate issues like he did with the recent BB SL Set.

I think it was diferent theatre?
I believe that MacArthur had the So.East Pacific Command. SEAPAC. While Nimitz had Western Pacific Command, Which included Iwo Jima.
