If a person wants to make a complete Yorktown Redoubt #10 as pictured in the catalog how many of each redoubt piece do they need?

I know the sets you need are 17757, 17752, 17838 and 17758 but do you need multiples of any of them to complete it?

Thanks,

Hello There! The sections pictured in the catalog are part of a modular system to build earthwork fortifications from the 17th century to the late 19th century. These will work well for the Rev War range and the US Civil War range pictured in the catalog.
The corner section(17752) and the straight section (17838) are 'universal' sections. Four each of these two products would form a square earthwork for infantry.
The one pictured in the catalog used a different configuration including the 17758 set that includes the two US light infantryman and the British 17th Rgt of Foot casualty and three sets of 17757 which are half width sections and include the two US lights scrambling up the slope with the sapper, or pioneer, working at the defensive stakes at the base. This created an eartwork with a passage way to the rear.
Later this year we will be adding other sections that can be used with this system, including the platform necessary for artillery.
Hope this helps....Ken Osen

Hi Shannon:

Here is the breakdown:

2 x 17758
3 x 17838
3 x 17757
2 x 17752

The cool thing is that the repeats of 17758 and 17757 can be used with different figures from the same set and other sets as well in different locations so they look like two or three different sets!

I had a blast setting this up for the catalog - I really hate my job sometimes!!!!

Speaking of the redoubt pieces. How come they don't match up? They are differnt heights and the edges don't match up real well.

I hope you will consider making this piece. I would buy it in ten seconds!
