How to clean out attachment folder? (1 Viewer)

I have got to believe that the forum is carrying a lot of excess memory in these old attachment files. I just noticed them, but have found no way to klill them as no delete function appears. If everyone pruned their file, it would open up a bunch of extra bandwith for the Reuss's..Michael

I think the way the Forum is set up (no editing after a certain period of time), it would be a huge (almost monumental) task for the Reusses to clean up attachments.

However, Pete has said that he does wish people would use third party providers like Photobucket.

People often view old threads...and if we start yanking attachments we will make many of those threads useless.

We sure don't argue when Photobucket can host images and not us...:tongue:
