It appears as if it was during the retreat from Moscow during the long winter nights that Ken and I talked about the need for an H&A website allowing Ken more space than any distributor would grant him for his models and an opportunity to "personalize" his offering. Several decades in the making (as it seems to me), a website carrying ken's company's logo is up. This allows those of us that do not have the opportunity to see and buy (same thing by the way: Veni ,vidi, ) Ken's works at shows to order directly from him.

Without creating too much of a frenzy, I think the website is in its infancy and a lot still needs to be downloaded, but I like it and it is a very good start.

Having said that, Ken and Ericka are not (yet) a large corporation maintaining an inventory of each item offered on the website. I think going "internet sale" does not and should not take away from the fact that each and every item is individually produced - and if in doubt upon order. I thi
Code:
nk that although some degree of standardization is required this day and age of anonymous Internet transactions, Ken will afford to listen to any individual request for modification of standard items - the advantage of being a small batch producer.

Lastly, I think his dioramas are a steal for the price. I am not saying they are cheap - by no means - but considering the space available for my hobby, I will always have to limit the number of dioramas and hence the funds allocated to the diorama piece as such is a one-time expense.

I have looked but cannot locate the website, can you provide a link? Thanks. Mike

Certainly: http://www.hudsonandallen.com/

I spoke to Ken today and he confirmed that the website is WIP (Work-in-Progress). But I think it already gives a good impression of Ken and Ericka's offerings.

But nothing beats meeting them in person. Sorry. :D

Having said that, it appears Ken & Ericka are traveling the country quite a bid and fully embrace contact with customers. Hence: Seek them out. And if you cannot make it to a show in person, I suggest you drop them an e-mail and initiate the personal contact. They are not mass manufacturers, but a small family owned company with production in the US. They are hence very personal and engaging.

This is great.I have already added it to my favorites.:D

Hi and Thanks All!
Ericka and I have returned from the Valley Forge show a little later than we had planned. the weather was great and we just did a little antiquing and photographed structures on the way home.
We should have the images and pricing information up on our Website for the first three Normandy buildings within a day or so. Please note that prices listed on these is the introductory pricing and there will be an increase in the future.

These are available direct only at the moment and we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and PayPal.

We will be adding more structures very shortly, in addition to more scenics and detail items.

Thank you for your interest and support!
