Hi there!
I have had several collectors ask how the 1st legion figures work with our H&A damaged factory.
As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I took a few images to share.

Checking the street to see if it is clear... this view shows the entire interior length of the model as it is sold.

The only thing I have added is the smallest amount of H&A rubble to blend in the figure bases.

The windows feature damaged glass and painted frames. Here I have posed two different figures peering out into the street across from the factory.
I think the textures of the walls compliment the figures nicely.

Truly you are a world class dioramist.Do you have any of your artistry in museums?if not they don't know what their missing.
Mark

Thanks Mark,
Over the years we have built and installed several dioramas, including full scale environments with life cast mannequins.
We still still bid and build models for museums between private commissions and contracted sculpting for the collectibles industry.

Do you ever take a vacation from all this?As much as you surely love all this you have to get away once in a while.

I thought I would post a couple other images taken with the 1st legion Heer Infantry lurking in the damaged factory. I just used a couple of period images placed just outside the windows and doors for depth.
A very small amount of H&A rubble was again used to soften the edges of the figure bases. The rest of the debris is molded in to the factory model.

I like the silhouetted figures in the doorway...

Very nice work, thanks for posting the photo's . I think the H&A Damaged Factory makes a Great background piece to showcase the Fantastic German Infantry being Produced by First legion , I love the exposed brickwork really a nice job . Thanks again Gebhard

I think it's pretty safe to say that the figures and factory go pretty well together. ;)

For you Stalingrad figure collectors out there, I personally think this building would make an outstanding addition to your collections. H&A work is about as good as you can get for a mass produced building. The realistic style matches our figures perfectly.

I really love this factory.

Ken, you've mentioned doing two add ons to the factory to enlarge it. Any update on this?

Beautiful factory building.:) Can you also elaborate on possible additions this piece. Maybe an opposite half? Addition factory structures?

Where can these buildings be purchased?? What dimensions are the buildings and what is the cost?........Are they only custom orders or stock items? Thank You Frank

Hi all!
It looks like moving my photos into an album last night interrupted a few image links so here are the two that appear to be missing from the earlier posts...
This image shows pretty much the entire length of the inside of the damaged factory.

In this photo I have staged one of the Heer Infantryman looking out one of the damaged windows near the middle of the building...

The building is made of light weight high density molded foam and completely hand decorated just as you see in the images, including window frames and broken glass.
These are stock items available direct from H&A, with more images and information listed under the Hudson & Allen section of this forum.

I love the way the 1st Legion figures look in this environment!

Having experience first hand :)D), I think all ranges of figures from First Legion (!!!!!) work very well with H&A products. Highly recommended combination.

Hi there!
I have been pretty busy here with various projects including some preliminary work for a museum project.
Here is the update on the new building and structures:
Four new Normandy buildings are in pre production at the moment with a few more items being finished to give this range some depth.

Two new patterns for industrial building sections are nearly finished for initial molding that will compliment the Damaged Factory now available.
One additional building that is a little more complex than the factory will be added to this grouping in late summer.

I am looking forward to staging a few of your excellent Russians in these buildings when they are announced.

Keep up the good work with the paint and casting quality. I know how hard it is to keep up the QC and your products are clearly exhibiting the fruits of your diligence in overseeing the production!

All the Best,

Sounds great Ken,would you have a rough idea of when the Normandy buildings might go into production?.

Thanks Ken

great add to any First Legion dio, just wish I had the room to use it, ...Sammy

How about some of the First Legion Pioneer assault figures posed with the factory? Love what you've done with the other figures. A Pioneer throwing a gernade thru the window or the satchel charge bag thru the doorway? A NASTY surprise.
