Just to get a little practice in for Hue dioramas and I think it's a decent enough start to give you guys who are thinking of doing a Hue set up a couple of ideas maybe.
I started with a Internet backdrop photo, adding bits of tree bark, couple of stones, twisted wire and some rusty corrugated iron roofing, which you see in a lot of Hue '68 photos to a base with my usual bits and pieces and a Del Prado figure. Hopefully another couple of months and we'll be able to get K&C's first issues !

Allies ?

Allies ? Marine and ARVN meet. Not so sure by the expression on the ARVN soldier.

First attempt at Tiger suit for ARVN soldier who's Rifle will be replaced with something more modern at a later date !

Thanks Larry. Having seen Andy's preview of the Marine figures it's another range not worth trying to resist as you're only find yourself hunting them down later on !{sm4}

Hi Harrie, yes this range certainly holds a lot of promise from what we've seen so far and like you I'm wondering how Andy and Gordon's display take will take shape, other than I'm sure we'll all think, Wow ! {sm0}

Run up to Tet

In the run up to Tet, NVA regulars infiltrate into the South down jungle trails.

Steve, this is a great warmup for what’s to come! You again did magic with little “ingredients” at your disposal! I’m also very exited to grab these new K&C Vietnam figures and put them to action on the streets of Hue!

Steve, you're a master of the foliage. Cool jungle shot.

Cheers Rob for the kind words. Hopefully within a month I'll be using K&C Vietnam Marines in creating scenes.

Just in case it's of use to anyone making a Vietnam diorama and need a few extras in their scene plus at the top a few WW2 Magazines.

You should hopefully be able to download and print off images and cut out. You may have to adjust your print size to get the best results and to scale

For Vietnam, A few Magazines, flags, poster and cigarette packets fronts. Mostly 4 pack C ration ones..

Hope it's helpful.

For those who may be interested, Hue was featured in a program on the late Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. The series is on Netflix (at least for a few more months) and the Hue episode is in season 4. There is also an episode about Hanoi in season 8.
