There is a huge D-Day diorama for sale on E-Bay. I think the price is around $9,000. Everybody should have one.

Really cool stuff.

The figures mostly look like Tamiya and Dragon 1/35th Styrene figures, many with some changes. The boats are LCM3 types and have been kitted by Trumpeter and Dragon. Very nice ground work and the resin water looks good too.

As an amateur model builder I always thought that it would be fun to work on a big scene like that, but who has the space for one? It must be quite a project. Just painting figures would take me forever.

It is a really nice Diorama. But again it stops at the bunker line i would like to see the interconnecting trenches behind the bunkers Etc. And it looks like the men are all permantly planted could not play with it or move things around.
Beautiful as it is not woth the price in my mind. But I am a poor guy.
