Good watch, number 3 in the series, Jennifer Lawerence always looks great, moves along fairly well and of course left open for the next one. Robin.

Gents,

It is a family tradition down in these parts...pulled the kids out of school early for a "Doctors Appt" and take them to early showing to avoid all the crowds. I read the series and of course there is tons missing from book to the movie. But, I dig it and the flick was pretty darn good. Now I got to wait a whole year again in order to see the last installment. I wonder how they are going to do it!

Side note! The movie was dedicated to the memory of Phillip Seymour Hoffman. It is kind of surreal seeing him in a movie, knowing that he has passed. Awful, just awful.

Saw it last week with my younger son. Overall not bad but like with many 2 part final movies I felt that they stretched things a little to make time and justify doing a second part...(same as with Harry Potter final 2 part instalment). Hopefully the 2nd part will see more action than talk...

Saw it last night . I too read the books. Obviously there is detail lacking, but overall a good take on the book.

For all of you who read these, did you also read the Divergent series? I liked those better than the Hunger Games books

I didn't read the Divergent books but I saw the first movie (Divergent) and it was good. They are making a sequel (Insurgent):
