another Bermuda Triangle theory unproven...

it's on tonight...I'll give it a try...

but obviously they didn't prove anything in this show as it would have made the news by now...

I agree. The typical teaser show with pseudo-experts who don't walk the talk...:wink2:

but how many of these dead ends can you watch...

there is never anything conclusive in these shows...

and it always ends with...

"could aliens have done this?"

I watch a lot of the History Channel...

and "Alien day" is the one day I turn the channel...

this guy kills me...

everything is a conspiracy theory about aliens...

the biggest kook I have ever seen...

My point, and oh I forgot lots of commercials in those shows between tidbits of pseudo actions/facts and wacky theories...I compared these to web articles you see now with catchy titles but nothing substantial in their content.

I know nothing substantial is gonna happen...

if it had...

it would have been on the news before this show was aired...

still...

I'm fascinated with it so far and will stick with it for a while...

all the investigators have impeccable credentials and seem amply qualified for this task...

at worst...
at least I'm getting a little history lesson on Hitler and Argentina...^&grin

Actually, Curse of Oak Island is starting to get interesting as they are actually going back to basics and using technology to it's fullest instead of listening to every nutbag theory. They are finally settled on following up the original pit and subsequent shaft built by aliens ( sorry, had to... ) no past treasure hunters some years back. Michael

I actually think there might be something to the ancient alien theory and UFO's in general.Too many unexplained things happened in the past,things that I don't think humans can or could do,too many mysteries,odd drawings by the ancients or the way they described things.I think the show goes a little too far linking almost everything to aliens but to me it's as plausible as evolution.

The thing is that we keep discovering that humans were able to do incredible things way before we think they could do it, sometimes pushing back that time by 1000's of years through new evidences. Human civilizations around the world have always been going through up and down cycles in terms of social organization and technical ability. Just think about the time of the pyramids compared to where Egypt was 100 years ago or the Inca, Roman or Chinese civilizations...Things get forgotten and rediscovered all the time...That said I am not saying that aliens could not exist. I am just waiting to meet one to believe it :wink2:

A lot of credible people don't think humans could have made the pryamids.Of course a lot of credible people think they could have.I'm inclined to be with the first group.Not saying there aren't a lot of wackos out there but some do make sense.I saw a show were they said that that the ancients had the know how to move these giant rocks long distances.so they had all these engineers there and they ended up moving one rock a few feet and that took a huge effort.Also the Nazca lines weren't made for people on the ground to see.

I assume most of these reality, UFO, bigfoot, and ghost hunter shows are low budget, decent ratings efforts which is why there are so many of them. Mostly harmless nonsense with some occasionally interesting historical or scientific background. The ghost shows are the biggest gas since they have never visit any place without finding evidence of a ghost. I guess it wouldn't help ratings to stumble about in the dark all season and never find anything. They love those tape records that they play back to hear "voices."
