French militia have been sent out from Fort Carillon in search of British redcoats who may be gathering in the nearby woods for a surprise raid on the fort during Christmas Eve celebrations.

Oh this really made me laugh...only now I will be wearing the coffee stain (Yes I was taking a sip when I opened your post) for the rest of Xmas day.
