Hi Guys,

I have been on pins and needles these last two weeks with our local union here in Tucson prepared to call a strike today if some negotiations were not made on wages/health care, and finally with only hours to spare we won our battle with corporate and got the fair shake we deserve!!!! so Christmas is saved!!!!! toy soldiers go back on the Xmas list, and all is right with the world...Sammy

I'm glad to hear it, Sammy. A transit strike in New York City a few years ago ruined Christmas for a lot of folks. A whole bunch of stores and restaurants went out of business, including Classic Toys, the store fellow Treefrogger Gideon and his dad ran in Greenwich Village, a great toy soldier store which is sorely missed.
