I know there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum about displaying figures...
can someone direct me to some websites that sell small pedestals to mount figures on...
by small...I mean no bigger than 2 inches tall...
I have been to a few modeling contests before and have seen figures mounted on them for display...
somebody must sell these...

something similar to these...
any help would be appreciated...

Re: I have a question please...finding miniature plinths for displaying figures

Something like these, Mike?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Miniature-...ries-2-Gray-Resin-Pedestals-NEW-/252027785578

Personally, I don't recall ever seeing any figures mounted on similar plinths in any of the figure shows I visit. That's not to say no painters have used something like the ones you show, just that they're not very common. And I don't know of anyone who sells bases for figure painters, who carries anything like them. The vast majority of bases used to mount and display individual figures or small vignettes are wood, often quality hardwoods or exotic wood.

But nevertheless...I ran a web search on "miniature resin plinths", and found some hits for auctions like the one above. Those are apparently made for dollhouse enthusiasts, so that might give a specific focus to your search, whether online, or at arts & craft stores near you.

Hope that helps, prosit!

Brad...

thank you very much for the response...
it's kind of funny...
I actually bought that one and cast a silicone rubber mold to reproduce them...
I used Mold Star which is very tear resistant product compared to the Ooomo products...
which I have used in the past and are not very good...
I would prefer a bigger base to mount the busts on...
as some of the busts have too large a pedestal to fit on top of these...
but yes...that is exactly what I'm looking for...
it will need to be with mostly 90 degree edges as I only want to do single cast molds...not 2 part cavity molds...
I did find one I liked that I can do an easy single cast of...but the top of the pedestal is only 1 1/8"s wide...
hopefully that will work...
thank you for the time you spent trying to help me...
