Hi all,
My father passed away just over a year ago. He was quite the collector and I have recently been going through some of the things he collected over the years. There are original newspapers with headlines of major events. I have the 1927 edition of the Chicago Tribune with the headline LINDBERGH LANDS IN PARIS. Another headline is THE ATOMIC BOMB - LOOSED AGAINST JAPAN SUNDAY - MAY END WAR - COULD DESTROY THE WORLD. Yet another headline reads VICTORY - FULL SURRENDER ENDS WAR IN EUROPE. There are headlines about Roosevelt's death and the Apollo 11 moom landing, etc. These newspapers are in pretty good condition, although the paper has turned rather yellow. Would a museum or collector be willing to pay money to obtain them? Thanks for any help.
George
