...that John Jenkins will release, later this year, a new line in respect of the Bataille de Québec. I will surely not miss a single set of that one.

Pierre.

Pierre,

That's sounds awesome!! I am going to start getting some of the Jenkins figures soon and this line, if you heard correctly, will be a nice addition to my collection. It will also be attractive due to its uniqueness. If you hear any further info, pass it along.

Agree with you, it will be a great serie. You can easily imagine how I will be interesting as the Bataille de Québec is still present in our memories, at least for the descendants of the french pioneers. The Plaines d'Abraham is a site that has a heavy symbolic signification. This is the place, in our collective imaginery part, where we became, as a multitude, colonized.

Trust me, when I will have more infos, I'll past them along.

Amitiés,
Pierre.

What do you have in your American Revolution Collection Now?

Ron

If they do produce that line it will force me to start collecting the John Jenkins line.

I like that line of thinking mitch292; if you come to the NJ show in Secaucus on the 11th, I'll show you the sets up close and personal...........

I have mostly Britians rev war figures and late last year I began collecting K&C. I am moving ahead to collect a lot of the K&C rev war line and that will be my main focus for this year. I plan to add some of these Jenkins figures as well even though they are not rev war.

Hey George,

Last we spoke you mentioned that you were also going to be at the Valley Forge show in May. Are you still planning on that? I'd love to meet you and see some of the Jenkins stuff that you have and those mounted Nap Del Prado's that we discussed too.

George does that show plus he also does one in Wayne NJ in April (it was in April last year anyway). However, I don't see the Wayne show listed anywhere.

Interestingly, Valley Forge is on May 4 and 5 and then there's the East Coast Show at FDU (first time) the following day. Wonder if George will do both. I've gone to Valley Forge the last two years but might skip it if there's a show at FDU.

Rev,
I will be at Valley Forge the 4th and 5th and will be sure to have plenty of Jenkins figures on hand as well as the Del Prados for you to see in person. Looking forward to it.

As Brad mentioned, there will be a show at Hackensack on the 6th, what a double header that will be, my only issue is Hackensack will pull attendees away from Valley Forge from the NY, NJ area who normally attend as Hackensack is closer for them. Kind of a raw deal for the dealers who come from the south to attend Valley Forge and don't plan on going to Hackensack the next day.

Brad, the show at the Wayne PAL is on April 22nd, they have done a bad job of promoting it. It was way off last year as it was moved from Somerset to Wayne and few people knew about it.

Mitch, stop by at the show and say hello, new venue, much nicer hall and more vendors too, so as a result, you will probably go home broke, but happy and isn't that why we collect, to be happy?

Regards,
George

I may do the dipsy doodle on the May ones. Our company's principal division is located in Collegeville, not far from Valley Forge. I'll arrange to be down there on Thursday, then stay overnight and go the show and then go to FDU to see what I might have missed (not counting my money, of course:) ).

Hi George,

Great!! I look forward to seeing you at Valley Forge. One question though after reading what you and Brad have posted about these East Coast shows; the show in Hackensack on the 6th, does that replace or is that in addition to the one held there every Fall? If I understand what you guys have said, it sounds like there are 2 shows at FDU--one in March and one in late October.

And yes, Brad, it will be great to meet you as well if you make it Valley Forge.

The show on the 6th is in addition to the one held in the fall, two shows this year, which is terrific news as his shows are the best on the East Coast, nice wide open hall with loads of dealers...........

Yea - but will the dealers have what the buyers want ?????

Woof Woof

I'm pretty sure at least one of them will, a certain Northern K & C dealer.................."Are you crazy, what could be worth more than 16 million dollars!"........"Come by later Crapgame and we'll show you"................
