There are lots in the threads about news and also some more pictures, but has anyone actually received any of the 2018 figures yet........or those we are waiting on from 2017 and of course the antique 88mm gun!

It is just noise and showing us all shiny shiny things to distract us with promises. Why is there nothing, or at the least very little, from Britains or Ken himself, Andy at K & C and the team from T Gunn are on the forum on a weekly basis.

They've obviously made a conscious decision not to participate in the Forum and to only post developments on Facebook. It's easy to see why. On FB, you only have people liking this or that (no negative comments and if you don't like the comments you can remove them) whereas here they have to take the good with the bad and they know they will receive some criticism for matters that have been extensively discussed; I don't need to repeat them again.

In my view it's shortsighted but it's their decision.

Hey, I get your criticism, but this is your same post just a different title. Kicking a dead horse here.

Not really as firstly there has been new things on the forum and 'dead horses' do not make promises and send out pictures etc and not deliver, I would say it is more like Monty P 'Dead Parrot Sketch'.

There is a good portion of my collection that was sculpted by Ken and I hope everything is ok with Britians and they come roaring back.
However as Jazzeum said, they are making a conscience decision to not post here , They have to be aware of the post on here as they have responded before on other matters.
As a buyer I do plan some purchases ahead and pre order sets and I would like to order the Kharkov figs to go with the new war park ones.
Will I ? No . I will not allocate spending dollars or plans for a set up on a figure I may never get.
All of these multiple threads on this could have been handled with a post and stopped the guessing.
I don't need to know the why I just need the when.
Just my two cents.

A reliable source from China has told me that WB has a new factory and is in production now.
A former factory either closed up or had financial problems and it took a lot of time to get new
production going. Ken and Ted have been in China trying to sort things out.

Whether WB can come back strong is still up in the air but I think product is in route.
There should have been better communication that's for sure. Many collectors including
myself have put their dollars into other makers so even if WB gets back in the game they
will have lost market share.

Only time will tell.

Hopefully WB will get the situation sorted, I take it not a lot of new designs will be realised in the near future as there is such a backlog of figures.

I've stopped preordering from them as this has happened on a smaller scale before where I ordered figures from several catalogues only for the whole lot to turn up at once , meaning a large bill I wasn't planning on.

IMHO Ken and company are treating collector's like mushrooms. About 80% of my collection is Britains and I have started to sell off my Blue/Reds Coats figures, which are admittedly a small component. I am going to plow the money into other brands, such as those where there is communication between the company and collectors. I will never sell my WB Sudan range, however, if I do add to it I will purchase Heritage figures.

As they say, just my 2cents.

I added to my range [stop collecting this era] using the John Jenkins Sudan range, really goes together well.

I have been purchasing Hudson & Allen items off the Britain's site and they are coming thru just fine. I note you cannot send a private message on our forum to Britain's/Ken, it has obviously been blocked. At this stage I have made the decision to stop collecting Zulu which was my main dealings with Britain's. I feel the collection is complete and only something quite different in the range would entice me to consider. It remains one of my favourite series started in 2009 and will stay permanently displayed on my table tennis table. All future money diverts to K&C it seems. Robin.

I too just got the restock of the Hudson and Allen French Café and apartment with no problem from the Britain's website. I ended up buying the War Along the Nile Tel el Kebir figures from the TS shops in the UK. I couldn't wait and paid an extra $10.00 a figure to get them. If and when the additional figures come out i'll buy them. I'm in too deep and the figures are too good. I'm looking forward to the WWII Kharkov figures too. I wish they would go into overdrive to make up for the production delays.
