I received my very first First Legion figure today, the marching Teutonic Knight, carrying a banner. This is an amzing piece of work! I am awe struck by the quality of this figure! The chain mail is incredibly detailed and superior to anything I've ever seen before in a 54mm knight. The painting is absolutely first rate. The banner is particularly impressive. I am hooked! Thank you, First Legion.

I am sure, with a first figure like this one, there will be many more to follow on bearybone's battlefields :D

Congratulations on your first acquisition , welcome to the addiction :D I know how you feel , its been three years ago for me and with every new figure I purchase it just gets better . I get excited with every new release :eek: . I look forward to hearing what you think as your collection grows , It's a pretty good group of collectors here , some real nice guys . Yes, welcome to First Legion! As you have now seen, you can't find a better figure for thier price. Hope you are able to add to your collection soon, as I have found they look even better in groups.:)

Thanks for the "Welcome Aboard". Glad to be aboard. Konrad, for the photographs, I used a curved, sky blue paper backdrop and lit the figure with late afternoon natural sunlight, which gives a nice, warm, directional lighting effect and casts a dramtic shadow. I like that effect on a figure.

Really great choice for your first figure and I must say it is no surprise you are pleased. This is a great line and very tempting. Frankly I hope the Romans wait a while; that would be just too much on the plate for me at the moment.:eek:;)
