I was in a toy store on the weekend that specialized in CAT heavy equipment and all other types of construction pieces.Wow,the stuff was amazing.One hundred dollar toy soldier sets don't compare to $2500-$5000 cranes and bulldozers.Yikes!!!
There was an old fashion steam engine roller in there with a scale of 1:100 that he showed me that just sold on ebay for $10,000.It was only the length of an average index finger.My god that's some serious toy collecting.

That is some pretty expensive stuff. Years ago, when I used to be a toy train fan, the engines (comparable to a tank I guess) could run a lot of money; in the range of $200 to 300 and up -- that's new not retired.

Pick your poison. They took up a lot of room and my concern about K & C was that they would take up a lot of room but it's different because it's no fun if you don't run the trains. Not a problem here.
