King & Country's Desert Austin K2 Ambulance (EA027) is a beautiful rendition of the ambulance from the 1958 British movie, Ice Cold in Alex. Heavy, slightly weathered, and with a detailed driver, it's a nice piece made only better by adding the Desert Stretcher Party (EA028).

Thanks Guy. I never saw the movie; just brief parts on YouTube and/or the Internet. If I ever find it, I plan to buy. It sparked my interest in the K&C ambulance.

A truly classic film! I think the K&C "Katy" with the driver peering out checking for mines captures the perils of driving across the mine-ridden North African desert.
