ID the Rev War Soldiers on the left? (1 Viewer)

They are made by a souvenir company that sells to most national parks.
As to the regiment, they are generic AWI-era British light infantry.

Hope that helps!

Indeed they are! what a great resource we have in you guys. Thanks for the response. They are very nicely painted for the glossy style that they are. I noticed on the site they aren't priced...or no longer available.(?)

I wonder why this forum doesn't have a stand alone thread "what is this?" Discussion. I have many unboxed casting and soldiers, I have no idea what they are. I like them, I get'm, box or no box.

Once again,

thanks!

No problem!
The site I provided is a souvenir wholesaler. In order to purchase the figures, you would have to find a gift shop that buys from them.
I agree in regards to the quality. An ACW Union drummer from them was the first toy soldier I ever owned, purchased by my mother around ten or eleven years ago.

I think I've seen these in individual boxes, in auctions on eBay. I've thought that they are very reminiscent of King-White/Reeves, and that they must originate in Hong Kong.

Prost!

I have seen similar in window boxes but they are plastic/resin, and not nearly as nice. these are actually quite classic in their own right. I am not a big glossy collector but these are just as finely painted as the great ones that I do have.

I love the comment on how a figure from this series was the first one he ever owned!!!!! That is how this hobby keeps going, when one gives a thoughtful gift of a toy soldier to someone else. I give some away often to young kids. with their parents permission, at buy and sell shows.
