Seein' everyday what happens there , things Attila and his orde would be ashamed of, seein' the refugees arriving in thousands on the coast where in live..well i hope not to see it reproduced.
...Perhaps it seems worse because it is not a "normal" military versus conflict and too current.
Making figures of contemporary subjects, whether declared wars between two states, civil wars, colonial wars, or any other clash of arms, is a time-honored practice of toy soldier makers. I could certainly see someone producing figures of this subject now. I wouldn't buy them, because it's not a subject I want to collect, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone did make them.
Prost!

It's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.
With writing that "Nazi had beautiful uniforms" i don't want to avail nazi politics and doctrine. Mine is purely an esthetic view, but understand too that even a beautiful uniform can bear a strong negative significance. Sorry if i offended someone it was not my intention.
I wish Toy Soldier companies would explore more of the wars post -1945, after all FL themselves do a Vietnam range which was certainly controversial in its day (and remains so). However carful choices have to be made, and so brutal is the current Civil war in Syria with all the attendant human misery involved that I hope such a project never sees the light of day.
Agreed, it'd be interesting to see how a generic 'Middle East' themed series would be received- Six Day War etc...I can only imagine what Matt could do with a T-62 or Merkava tank...
