Hi;
My first post on here so I hope I don't mess it up. First of all "Hello!".
I bought the gun in the attached picture in Florida last winter. It is missing part of the elevating mechanism but before I can try to fix that I would like to id. it and, hopefully, find a picture of a complete one. Can anyone help?

Hi , can't help with your question but want to welcome a fellow Maritimer to the forum

This is a BRITAINS Gun, catalogue number 1292 called a Gun of the Royal Artillery

It looks like the one you have has been damaged.... there is no shield, or elevating mechanism and the trail has been bent.

This is a pic of a good one :

I hope this helps,

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes, that looks like the gun. There's more damage than I had realized. Oh well, it was a cheap flea market find.
