A minute's silence for Imperial productions.

I had no idea Imperial was shutting down. They made some remarkable toy soldiers and their quality was second to none. I collected this set in Imperial's heyday I suppose. Hate to see it go but I need to make room for Jenkins FIW
and a few others. This comprises the Brave Defenders of Rorkes Drift (3 boxes), the Storehouse, and No.78 Zulu's - everything you see in the pic. If you have any questions just contact me through the forum.

Hey mate, What source told you Imperial was shutting down? (and when...?)

I believe it to be inaccurate, The company did close for a year or two several years ago due to various reasons but is currently going well?

Have you got an idea what you want to sell that RD set at yet?

Sorry. Mistook some of the threads to mean they were stopping production. That's good to hear they are just slowing down a little but not out of production. Smaller shop and slower production seems to be the story. As for the Storehouse. I currently have a buyer interested in the whole set, but I won't be hearing until early next week. I'd still prefer to sell it as a lot but I will let you know if that changes. Cheers, ssorc1
