Found this seller from Australia ,mechanized_man #180399023818...selling unpainted Imperial ? castings on Ebay. I have not owned Imperial for some time, but the posing, base and sculpting look to be correct. If legit, maybe a chance for you painters to fill out your Imperial sets..Michael

Their are a number of figures their that are dead ringers for imperial
thats for sure.
Their was a guy selling some unboxed in NZ some time back and I mentioned
it to David , he wasnt exactly over the moon as they have never
sold castings , so they where either copys or a light fingered employee had
been at work in the past.

If this ever happends again, please people make a post. The Cowe's do not scour the internet, but I'll be ****ed if i'm going to let others profit off their hard work without a few angry emails, etc.

Nathan, I have 3 sets of Imperial figures that the paint was ruined in a fire at my home. I stripped the paint off of them with the intent of sending them to David for possible repainting. The more I thought about it though, between the shipping and painting costs I could find original boxed sets for about the same costs.

If I do decide to sell the castings, I'll post them there hopefully on the new classified listings when they start.

I can repaint those for you for a moderate price. Check my Zulu Album on my Profile page.

Thanks KV but I could repaint them myself. What I was looking for is them being done exactly like the originals. Part of the charm of Imperial to me is that painting style. It is my understanding that David Cowe's wife does all the painting. I was also wanting new boxes for them.

Hello Chuck,

I do appologise my reply was after a few too many single malts! It was ofcourse referring to persons who would set original Imperial pieces into moulds to reproduce at profit :)

A very unfortunate circumstance for you :( I hope you can find adequate replacements sometime.

If you want to disclose the sets you're looking for, I don't mind msging you if I come across any on ebay or the like?

Cheers,

Nathan

I understand Nathan. I knew where you were coming from. ;)

I was speaking to Craig in Washington State about them several weeks ago. I believe that you may know him. I had purchased several sets of Steadfast from him and he was telling me about his Imperial figures.

For right now my Imperial figures are on the "back burner" so to speak.

They have reappeared it seems...

Really not impressed, such a blatant copyright infringement.
