The old tumble weeds have begun to blow again in the Imperial threads and
with the recent discusions of britains entering this theatre , I dragged a few of my sets out from this series and took a couple of shots of some of my favourites in the land of toy soldiers.

I've got the figure on the white horse at the back by the palm tree myself. I love Imperial!

Cool sets and thanks for posting

Thanks guys , This period is just so well suited to glossy figures
as evidenced by Imperial and Trophy etc [and I,m still hoping
Imperial will be able to add to their range if they find the time]
And it will be nice to see what britains can do in matte [judging
by the zulu range it should be very good] .
Shannon I,m glad to see you still have the odd Imperial figure floating
around , I know I picked up some nice sets from you guys after Imperial
initally shut up shop [and I was in the process of kicking myself for not
having bought more:eek:].

Nice photos. I too miss not buying some when they closed. I'm thinking of the Cossacks on horseback. I thought they looked great.:(
But I did get the three French hussars from the Napoleonic era :).

Thats not a bad substitute then , Their Napoleonics are my favourite range.
[I managed to pick up the last 4 of the napoleonic civilians today ]

Hi Vandilay

Some great sets there! I wish I had a few more Imperial Figures too. Someday...

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.
