For sale is the fourth and final of the rare Imperial Indian cavalry special paint Sets No. 50D and 51D the 30TH LANCERS, 1903 which are the 3-man and the 1-man officer sets, respectively. The unit history inside the box top lid is as follows: "Raised in 1826 as the 4th Regiment of Nizam's Cavalry, and composed mainly of Sikhs, they were from 1854 -1903 generally known as the Hyderabad Contingent. For their loyal support rendered to the British Government during the Mutiny by the Nizam of Hyderabad, the regiment was awarded the honor, Central India."
