First rate scenes. The backdrop works great. Hear you cleaned out the inventory of the Bunker today. Sounds like a new battle is coming soon?:D

The back drop works great till they notice stone henge in the background and the jokes start!:p
I,m going to try and get as much mileage out of that scenic Ireland book as I can!:p I,ve still got a few good pages left in there, just don,t mind the leprichahns and shamrocks in the background.:p

I wasn,t to bad at the bunker and only bought plastics for the chopping block. You can,t beat buy one get one free! Matt matched the conte sale so I decided to get a few sets I was on the fence about picking up, so I might get around to converting some non napoleonic figures in the near future?

If Conte made painted napoleonic metal figures I think I would have been in trouble. I would have made put a MAJOR dent in my bank account today at buy one get one free.:rolleyes:

I see that you put together the photo dio using the tent you pointed out at the Bunker and very nicely done and looks like we'll be seeing a major engagement based on the planning that being done. Great piece of work Tim....The Lt.

Fishead, I do not see you in your Trumpeters outfit!. Great use for the Schleich tent.

Fish,

I saw that you have included the K&C collector's club Old guard in your display with the regular release Old guard...

Question:
1 did you repaint to collector club's Old guard in a darker blue same as the regular releases?

2 Do you think the collector club figure is superior in paint job, especially the bear skin cap and its decoration?

No I didn,t repaint them. I guess from them being set back a bit further they look to be the same color blue but if you see them up close side by side the the collectors club figures are a bit lighter of a blue color.

I don,t find the collectors club figures to really be painted any better then the standard release figures and I think its more the artist that painted the figure and what kind of job he or she did on that paticular one in a pile of figures he painted that day?
I,m sure some figures might come out a bit better then others but I don,t think it has anything to do with wether its a collectors club figure or not.

I guess that would be a question for andy but I don,t find them to be painted any better then a standard release.
The bear skin cap on the club figure is done differently then the standard release, its a bit larger then the standard release figure and the style of painting on the chord is done differently also, it has a bit of highlighting on the chord.
The club figure also holds his musket on his left side unlike the standard release that holds his musket on the right side. He also wears white gaiters instead of black.
