Just saw a notice on their Facebook page-Imrie-Risley found a buyer and is back in business!

Thats great news, it was a shame when they closed, I had thought they would be lost, be here we go, available again.

This is speculation, but from the content of their Facebook post, I suspect that the new owners are the people who bought London Bridge Collectors Toys when Ron Ruddell retired. They mention the brands available through the new London Bridge, and also list the website in the post. I've emailed to ask and confirm this.

I literally painted hundreds and hundreds of IR figures in my youth. Hopefully some of the younger generations will find painting these a segue into enjoying history.

I got a reply from Randy Johnston, who owns London Bridge, and he confirmed that he has bought I/R, too. I'm glad that the brand will still be available. I've been picking up kits on eBay, but now I can order the ones I want.
