Hi to everyone arriving at Wallan for the King and Country event. We got ahead of schedule and got in a day early. Hogan's Hotel is superb. The rooms are spacious and warm, despite the outside temperature. Staff friendly and helpful. No trouble squeezing us in for an extra night on short notice. Great vibes! A great weekend ahead. See you all tomorrow.

Morning Bob,

Will we be seeing some photos.

Matt
Hi Matt,
Had a camera phone failure and missed the diorama challenge. Great event though with a strong Vietnam focus. I'll send you some shots of the dioramas at the Armoured Museum at Puckapunyal when I get back. The rice paddy was a hit :). Howard was the perfect host and the tours were first class. Hogan' Hotel would stack up against the best in the world and I could not fault the service.

Bob,
I'll post my images in the morning when I will be home and resize the good ones
I'm at the airport now after being dropped off following yet another 'fun filled ' day that our host, Howard, had organised.

The RAAF aircraft museum today was 'world class' and Andy was quite interested in the 2 Huey choppers 😊
Great meeting up with you this weekend and seeing all the wonderful dioramas to.
Yet another fantastic weekend enjoyed by all,

John

Any "int" on forthcoming releases, particularly, Napoleonic ones?

A great weekend John. Had an evening with Howard and Andy and came away with a few good diorama pieces. Great to catch up and got some really good info for our Landau project. Look forward to swapping notes with you on Wagram.

Thanks John for those superb :) photos. Dave didn’t recognise himself! Did you by any chance get a shot of that canoe on the white water? That was a great piece of work.

Sorry Bob, I didn't take any shots of the diorama competition, I had taken my camera back to my room before that was set up,
maybe someone else did ??
