I think that K&C ALH are some of the best made and painted figures but I've found in the last years only a couple of nice diorama ( the barleywomble one is really very nice). The number of figures is high enough for creations and I think there are many collectors in the world. So is it possible to see more diorama ?....Not found diorama with the latest figures, nice those on camels or galloping after the battle ( only advertising pictures from K&C ). I'll do probably one in the future (meanwhile I'm collecting sand, rocks, trees, sandbags, a well and something like that) but I would like to see some more ideas or your creations. I'm sure that some collector has pictures of theirs . News about ALH new releases, even if the Gallipoli range is growing up ? Thank you.

Could not agree more, the ALH are the best in sculpts and paint. It stands as my number one series and would be the last that I would let go. The series is currently on the back burner due to so much other WW1 releases, especially Gallipoli. It will pick up next year, can think of lots more possibilities for items, but I am sure October 2017 will be big, given the 100th anniversary of Beersheba. Hope you climb on board with this series and get as much enjoyment as I do. Some of the early items are getting hard to find now as it has been going since 2009. Good hunting. Robin.

Hi Guys,

First of all a hearty congratulations to my old mate Robin (Village Horse) on posting those amazing shots of his Light Horse “Extravaganza”...Truly amazing Robin – I think you’ve got more in those scenes than we have here in HK.

Here’s some more pix from the K&C Archive to enjoy...

All the best,

Andy

Robin(Villagehorse) what a fabulous display!I agree that this series is one of K&C's best. The JJD wagons and packhorses add to the atmosphere.I think JJD's general service wagon would look good here-if you could fit it in,that is.Well done that man.

And there was this humble effort in Brisbane...............

Thank you for sharing your nice pictures , really outstanding to see all of the figures together ( never seen the villagehorse "cornucopia" , Andy's attack picture and many of the wainepoo's views ). I've found the majority of the items in the last two years inspired by "barneywomble" pictures. Some were easy to find, some very difficult but most in my hands ready for a diorama as soon as I get time. One item is impossible ( for avaiability and cost ) to get , the al015 (picture). I hope something similar would be released in the near future ( Andy ? ) .

I cannot agree more....I second you....The only thing that I am really upset:( is with the fact that K&C has for some reason not grasped to the fact that their Middle East Building segment is so fantastic and can enrich so many different dios from Nativity, Romans, Crusaders, Napoleonics,Northwestern Frontier, WW1 and WW2...AND THEY DO NOT COME out with more add ons....except for a few orchard walls....{sm3}..More fortress walls, corner towers and buildings to extend the village, would be fantastic......
Cheers

Hi ForzaToro,
Now that we know that most al015 are in Austrailia;).....I would recommend you to check a New Zealand Toy Manufacturer called International Soldiers if I am not mistaken on the name. They provide a very nice segment of WW1 sets, and Turkish Army including Artillery are part of the offerings. The catch is that they are 54mm/1:32 scale a little smaller than K&C....But nothing that an expert layout in the demo where you can play with perspective will not trick the viewers eye...but if you put them on hand to hand fight with the ALH then the size difference will pop up....
Cheers
