Well

The latest release of King & Country CC British Indian Troops should confirm for all the new range being introduced in Chicago will be a "British Colonial Range"

Collector Club figures are that early warning bell that points to new ranges - as I have stated before on this forum ;)

I wish I could be there with you guys for that show - this new Range will be something to see. :)

I hope your prediction proves to be true Ron. I have had the same suspicion for a little while now. Sadly, I too will be unable to attend "The Show" this year. :(

Nor will I. I'm sure we will all meet there one day soon!:D

Do you think te BoobY Woll figure is trying to tell su something? Perhaps there will be a big surprise waiting next month and K and C will go heavily into WWII German figures?

Ronn:

Figure is looking sharp! He has taken his place next to Captain Gable

and Col Duke Wayne outside the tobacco shop!:D

I will post a few shots when I return home as I am up in Jersey to

celebrate birthday with Daughter......and our newest King & Country Collector

Hope you have a great weekend, and thanks again!:D

By the way, has anybody heard any more intel Re: K&C's Friday or Saturday dinner event at OTSN this year? (This could push me to find a way to show up some how after all ).

This is what Shannon said in her newsletter (it's the only thing I've heard):

"As some of you know, Treefrog Treasures, along with three other sponsors has put on a King & Country dinner for the past three years which has included dinner, a talk by King & Country founder and creative director Andy Neilson, and last year, a special figure exclusive to the dinner.

People who have attended previous dinners want to return and people who have not had the pleasure of attending in the past continue to express interest in attending. As the popularity of this dinner has grown and the number of attendees continues to rise we have had to make some changes to accommodate for this.

Final details will come later (a few sponsors are currently out of the country) but I can tell you a few of the general plans now.

This year, collectors will need to reserve their place in advance by purchasing an admission ticket so that we can plan for the proper number of people and no one is left out because someone else reserved a seat but did not come.

The price of the ticket is unimportant however because each collector who attends will receive admission to the event, hors d'oeuvres before the event, dinner, a special exclusive King & Country Chicago Dinner figure AND a voucher for the same amount as the price of admission to be redeemed with any of the sponsors.

So essentially the event remains free but with this new format we think we will be able to accomodate each collector who would like to attend the event and the sponsors do not have to be in a position of having to turn people away.

As soon as the details have been finalized I will give you an update and we will begin taking reservations. I look forward to this opportunity to spend time with you in person at this fun and tasty event."

Thanks for the excellent update, Brad. I will keep a look out for more details then.
