INDIANA JONES AND THE CURSE OF CLEOPATRA---George Lucas announced the plot for the long-awaited Indiana Jones sequel starring Harrison Ford and released new sequel photos.
"Two Russian moles (William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman) in the US bribed the Marshall College admissions officer so their daughter enrolled as a student in Indiana Jones' archaeology class. She will assist Jones in the dig for Cleopatra's tomb in Egypt where she intends to unleash the Curse of Cleopatra which will cause global devastation, resurrect the old Soviet Union and achieve Communist domination of the world."
The cast also includes Karen Allen, John Rhys-Davies and Lori Loughlin.
LOBOT: A STAR WARS STORY---Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy announced the latest STAR WARS movie will focus on the early years of Lobot, Lando Calrissian's chief aide, how he met Calrissian and their many galactic adventures on the Millennium Falcon.
GETTYSBURG---Christopher Nolan announced he is remaking the 1993 movie about the epic battle that was the turning point in the Civil War. Nolan said the star-studded cast includes:

DIRTY HARRY---Warner Bros. reboot of the classic Clint Eastwood movie franchise is underway with Brie Larson playing rogue San Francisco Police Department Inspector Harriet "Harry" Callahan, who is trying to apprehend the Golden Gate Killer.
ICE STATION ZEBRA---Patty Jenkins will direct the MGM remake of the 1968 movie based on the Alistair MacLean novel. The plot involves the first all-female nuclear submarine, the USS Charlotte, which must transport a team of CIA and MI6 spies and the first all-female SEAL team to retrieve a Russian spy satellite film cartridge that landed near Ice Station Zebra, a weather station at the North Pole. The Charlotte's commander, Capt. Alexandra "Alex" Shelton, discovers someone on the submarine is trying to sabotage the mission as the world teeters on the brink of World War III.
Jenkins said the cast includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Gal Gadot, Emily Blunt, Sarah Paulson, Amber Heard, Halle Berry and Michelle Rodriguez.
The original movie starred Rock Hudson, Patrick McGoohan, Ernest Borgnine, Jim Brown, Tony Bill and Lloyd Nolan.
ALIEN VS. GHOSTBUSTERS---sequel movie underway which will unite the two classic sci fi movie franchises. Sigourney Weaver is returning in dual roles as Ellen Ripley and Dana Barrett. Bill Murray, who rejected earlier GHOSTBUSTERS sequels because he said they were poorly-written, shallow attempts to make money, is returning for the new sequel, "I jumped at the chance to star in this clever, unique resurrection of two hit movie franchises." Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Rick Moranis are also returning. Harold Ramis will return via CGI.
FIRE THE WALKING DEAD---new AMC zombie spinoff tv series underway which focuses on creator/showrunner Frank Darabont being fired during Season 2, his $300 million lawsuit against AMC and how the firing affected the series.

STAR TREK: THUNDER CHILD stars Wil Wheaton returning as Capt. Wesley Crusher, commander of the starship USS Thunder Child on its maiden voyage to explore a newly-discovered solar system where no man has gone before. Ashley Judd will play the Thunder Child's Vulcan science officer, and Sarah Paulson will play the starship's android doctor.
STAR TREK: GALAXY QUEST is based on the 1999 STAR TREK parody movie with Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Tony Shalhoub and Sam Rockwell returning. Alan Rickman will return via CGI.
